Travel Find of the Year 2006: Geograph

The judges voted Geograph (www.geograph.org.uk) the best travel site for Finds 2006. The Geograph British Isles project aims to collect geographically representative photographs and information for every square kilometre of the UK and Eire. Despite only being live for 6 months the judges were really impressed by the quality of the content and felt it was fun to play with and really get involved in.

This site is also using the ever popular trend of user generated content to populate the site and this was another reason the judges felt it was the winner of its category.
